The Lawyer's Personal Brand · glossary

Ownership email

The four-line email a lawyer sends a client after a mistake: what happened, what is fixed, what stops it, and one sorry, last. Write “nothing else has changed” only after reading both versions against each other. Tell the partner who owns the client first, in the same hour. File 7.2 · Chapter 8 · see Creator, not victim; Friend test

Explained in Chapter 8, Own It, of The Lawyer's Personal Brand.

Chapter 1 and this glossary are open to everyone; the whole edition is free to read with a free account until 31 January, and it stays open to an account opened by then.
