Reframe

The same fact, put in a sentence that is true and useful instead of true and useless. “I’m an idiot” is finished, with nothing to do after it. “Two fields in an earlier draft, corrected, partner told, four lines sent” is the same fact with a to-do list inside it. Explained in Chapter 8, Own It, of The Lawyer's Personal Brand.

How it comes up, in Chapter 8
A reframe puts the same fact in a sentence that is true and useful, instead of true and useless. The trouble with “I'm an idiot” is that it is finished: after it there is nothing to do except feel it. “Two fields in an earlier draft, corrected, partner told, four lines sent” is the same fact with a to-do list inside it.
