Less Complex Claim

A claim that follows the lighter disclosure rules for claims of modest size and complexity. Only Models A, B and D are open to it, and its forms are shorter. The CCMC order makes Ravensett’s claim one. CCMC Order, paragraph 1 · Chapter 7 · see Model D

Explained in Chapter 7, Disclosure and Privilege, of Civil Litigation.

How it comes up, in Chapter 7
A Less Complex Claim is one that follows those lighter rules. Fewer ways of giving disclosure are open to it, and its forms are shorter. Both sides gain, because a smaller search keeps their costs down. The court gains too, because its time goes on the real dispute.
