Minimum Purchase Target

The number of machines Tullavane should buy in a Contract Year: 200, 300 and 400 over the three years. Missing it is no breach. Clause 5.3 lets Cressby end exclusivity after one miss, or the Agreement after two in a row. Agreement, clause 1.1, “Minimum Purchase Target” · Chapter 6 · see Exclusive distribution

Explained in Chapter 6, Minimum Purchase Targets: When the Distributor Misses One, of Distribution Agreements.

How it comes up, in Chapter 6
The Agreement gives each year a Minimum Purchase Target: the number of machines Tullavane should buy from Cressby in the year. It is a goal, not a promise to buy, so a shortfall breaks nothing. Instead, Cressby may take away the exclusivity. After two missed years in a row, it may terminate.
