Measurable achievement

Something you did that a stranger can count or date, such as three completed deals, each named by its kind and month. Every job on a CV gets one. Keep the honest size of the job beside it: “each under a partner”, not “led”. File 2.4 · Chapter 3 · see CV summary section, Appraisal page

Explained in Chapter 3, A CV for Someone Who Has Never Met a Lawyer, of The Lawyer's Personal Brand.

How it comes up, in Chapter 3
The first line is the whole firm in a breath. “Three completed deals”, each with its kind and its month, is a measurable achievement: something you did that a stranger can count or date. “Each under a partner” is the honest size of the job. The summaries the directors took to their boards show a skill as a result, not a claim.
