Liquidator

The person appointed to wind up a failed company: to sell its assets and pay its creditors in the order the law sets. A charge not filed at Companies House within 21 days is void against a liquidator (section 859H), and the Bank would be an unsecured creditor. Chapter 1 · Chapter 6

Explained in Chapter 1, What Security Is For, of Security & Collateral.

Chapter 1 and this glossary are open to everyone; the whole edition is free to read with a free account until 31 January, and it stays open to an account opened by then.
